Tonight was the second podcast only Sin Bin of the year. Again, we were bumped by Penn State Basketball, at least they won against Indiana at the Bryce Jordan Center. On Monday's show Ray and myself were joined by another ComRadio newcomer, Derek Major. After having their 17-game winning streak snapped on Friday night, the Icers looked to get back to their winning ways. Coach Battista's team had to shake off the heartbreak of having Friday's game tied in the last 2 seconds of regulation before losing in OT. Tune in to find out if the #1 Icers were finally able to beat #2 URI for the first time in six tries.

The #1 Penn State Icers faced off against the 2nd ranked University of Rhode Island Rams on Friday night in a battle of ACHA elite teams. A low scoring affair between the two teams came down to the wire and was decided in overtime after a questionable goal by the Rams with 2 seconds left in the 3rd period that sent the game to OT. Join Ray Schmitt and myself for the broadcast from the Greenberg Ice Pavilion.

I am currently a graduate student at Temple University. I have a BA in Journalism from Penn State after graduating in May '07. I am an adjunct professor at Temple as well, teaching the lab section of Audio/Video Newsgathering.
